Qualification: The candidate must qualify Class 12th or Council for the post of Constable, Unarmed Branch, District Executive Force (DEF).
2. Constable (Armed Branch) - 3643
Qualification: The candidate must qualify Class 10th or Council for the post of constable of Armed Branch.
Age limit: 18 - 25 Years
Physical Standard for Assam Police Constable Jobs
1. Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC (Male)
Height - 162.56 cms. Chest - 80 cms After Expansion 85 cms.
2. ST(H)/ ST(P) (Male)
Height -160.02 Chest - 78 cms After Expansion 83 cms.
3. Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC (female)
Height - 154.94 cms.
4. ST(H)/ ST(P) (female)
Height - 152.40 cms.

Qualification: The candidate must have H.S. or Class XII passed from a recognized Board or Council.
2) Armed Branch – 3643
Qualification: The candidate must have H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Physical standards:
i). Height (Minimum) Male – Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC 162.56 cm and ST (H)/ ST (P) 160.02 cm.
ii). Height (Minimum) Female – Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC 154.94 cm and ST (H)/ ST (P) 152.40 cm.
iii). Chest – Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P) etc, 80Cm (Normal) 85 Cm (Expanded) and ST(H) 78 (Normal) Cm 83 Cm (Expanded).
iv). Weight – Proportionate to height and age as per medical standard.

Qualification: The candidate must qualify HSLC or Class X from a recognized Board and must know bi-cycling
and
i). Height should be 162.5 cm for General/OBC/MOBC/SC and 160 cm for ST (H) ST (P).
ii). Chest (Only for men) – Circumference measuring not less than 81 cm when exhaled.
2) Female – 11
Qualification: The candiate must qualify Class VIII or an equivalent examination recognized by the Government and Height for Female should be 144.5 cm for General/OBC/MOBC/SC and 142 cm for ST (H) ST (P).
