Science Entrance Exams:
1. GSA(Graduate School Admission test)
Graduate School Admission test is entrance test conducted by Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) for admission to their PhD programmes in various subjects. The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research is India's premier institution for advanced research in fundamental sciences.
2. JAM (Joint Admission Test to M.Sc)
Joint Admission Test to M.Sc is the admission test conducted by IITs or Indian Institute of Technology's in Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee for admission to their high quality Master of Science and other post-B.Sc. programmes in respective disciplines.
3. JEST
JEST 2012 is the screening test for candidates who wish to do Ph.D. Programme in Physics (including Theoretical and Observational Astronomy, Astrophysics, Physics in Biology, Plasma Physics and Technology, Atmospheric and Space Sciences, Condensed Matter Physics and Materials Science) / Mathematics / Theoretical Computer Science.
4. ICSAR
ICAR (Indian Council of Agriculture and Research) conducts an All India Entrance Examination for admission to Bachelors Degree Programmes (AIEEA-UG) and Masters Degree Programmes (AIEEA-PG) in agri and allied sciences for Indian nationals. The examination is for the programmes in agriculture and allied science subjects other than veterinary science for filling 15% of the total number of seats in Agricultural Universities.
